can’t be anything less than a device that knows a wedding
party from a munitions plant, sees the joyous bride and groom
leading family members in the procession, sees the old people clapping to the reedy flute,
sees the children playing hide and seek among the tables or stealing sweets
and so reverses its downward spiral like a screw flying
backward out of a board at some Home Depot do-it-yourselfer’s touch.
