EROS


First
he came for me
with a whip,
then an axe.

Now
he just sends me
postcards.

He has also published in Canada, Ireland, and Great Britain. Last year he received a prize for his poetry from the Maryland State Arts Council, and he was recently nominated for the Pushcart Prize.
